I'm using nothing but start fits until I get enough isk to buy all the skillbooks I need, so I can make myself somewhat competent at the game and can afford to lose isk on some expensive bling. |

Wait, maybe you just wrote this wrong, but you are saving your ISK to buy all of your books first? But you are using SP's now and spending a little bit on those most basic of books right? (crosses fingers)..
No, I am buying the books, saving all the sp and isk, then, when I have a million of each, shall buff all those skills and kit myself out in the most righteous of armour loaded with the most deadliest of weapons that I will suddenly elevate myself to the level of Absolute Badass!
Then, having acheived my new level of godhoodness, you peeps all be screwed. |

Ok, its your game but I would advise you to get the most basics out of the way, it wont matter what suit or weapon you get if you dont: Mechanics, Weaponary, electronics, engineering. Its cool to get a proto suit and all, but if you don't have the most basic of skills already it wont matter. Also its much, much easier to get more SP's each match if you have a decent guy already.
...
*Disclaimer; I was joking. I know how to play the game man.
EDIT; The irony of the thread title just hit me on this post. Good times. |
